Together we have reached the end of a difficult year and there is definitely some sadness for each of us, for the things we have missed out on, for the opportunities that have been lost and for some of the changes that have been required of us. But there is also much to celebrate and be thankful for. I do hope that each member of our community has an opportunity over the coming break to reflect on the many things we can be thankful for in 2020, I certainly will be doing this.
I look forward to seeing our Kindergarten and Year 7 students in their shiny shoes and “room to grow” uniforms on their first day and also to our other students returning a little bit taller and confident to be back at School. I look forward to recharged and re-energised teachers returning to lead learning that is relevant, personalised and engaging and I look forward to the possibilities that a new year always brings for growth and excellence.
I wish each member of our wonderful community a time of rest, fun and safety over the summer break.
