Alumni
Our former students take their place in the Illawarra and beyond as leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, carers, advocates, creators, thinkers and more!
Stay in Touch
We love to support opportunities for former students to connect with the School and one another.
We proudly acknowledge our founding students, the former SCEGGS girls and TIGS boys, and all alumni since the School’s amalgamation, whose contributions have helped shape the rich and diverse history of The Illawarra Grammar School.

Back to TIGS Day
Back to TIGS Day is held annually, providing an opportunity for milestone reunion cohorts to return to the School and reconnect with former classmates.
Alumni celebrating their 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50-year reunions are encouraged to attend.
We do not have current contact details for all former students – please email grammarians@tigs.nsw.edu.au to update your information.
We would also appreciate your assistance in spreading the word to friends and classmates who may not be receiving our communications.
Share photos, memorabilia or expertise
We welcome contributions of photographs, memorabilia and historical items that capture life at the School across the decades.
There are also opportunities throughout the year for alumni to share their knowledge and professional expertise with current students. Whether participating in the Year 10 Careers Expo, delivering a guest lecture, or contributing to special events, alumni play an important role in school life.
