TIGS Supports Bushfire Appeal Concert

February 14, 2020

TIGS is delighted to be supporting the upcoming Symphony & Cocktails bushfire appeal concert ‘Rachmaninov in Red Square’. The event is being held at the Wollongong Town Hall on 29 February and 1 March and is raising money for families impacted by the recent bushfires. All funds raised will be directed to our local region via the Mayoral Bushfire Relief Funds at Shoalhaven City Council, Wollondilly Shire Council and Wingecarribee Shire Council.

Former TIGS student, Jennifer Condon, is organising the event with assistance from former Head of the Arts, Renae Pinazza. Jennifer currently works internationally as a freelance symphony and opera conductor and will lead the 70-piece symphony orchestra. Many of those involved are connected to TIGS as current or former staff, tutors or Alumni.
