Senior School Sporting Excellence

March 18, 2022

As sporting competitions return after years of COVID restrictions, our students have once again been achieving impressive results in high level competition.

William Willis in Year 9 recently travelled to Brisbane to compete in the Queensland State Athletics Championships where he won Gold in the Under 16 Hammer Throw and Silver in the Under 16 Discus.

Mia Parker in Year 10, a rising star in Water Polo, was selected for the Under 17 CIS team. Mia has an incredible record in the pool already, having been selected for the NSW Blues Water Polo team and as captain of the Illawarra Academy of Sport Lonestar team.

Jake Noble in Year 7 has been selected for the NSW Youth Volleyball Phoenix Program in preparation for the Youth Championships.

And Samuel Lowe in Year 9 is one of three Australians selected to attend the Billabong Bloodlines Elite Development Camp in Hawaii, where he will get a chance to work with some of the best surf coaches in the world, and tackle the legendary big surf conditions of the North Shore.
