Book Week

The Book Week Dress-Up Day will take place on Tuesday 30 August (Term III Week 6).

Book Week Dress-Up Day is a celebratory occasion for each of us to show our love of books, reading and characters through exciting costumes. Your costume can be inspired by any part of literature. Let your imagination roam and get creative!

Alternatively, students can consider dressing up in the Book Week theme: ‘Dreaming with Eyes Open’. Costumes must include covered footwear and should not include weapons, even if they are a part of the character.

Book Fair

To help celebrate Book Week, the Library will be hosting a Book Fair from 30 August – 9 September.

Students will view the Book Fair during their Library lesson and create a ‘wish list’ of books they would like to purchase. Purchases can be made by cash or card.

Parents are welcome to view the Book Fair and make purchases:

  • Before school 8.00am – 8.45am
  • After school Monday – Thursday 3.00pm to 5.00pm
  • Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm.

Premier’s Reading Challenge

Congratulations to the 91 students who have completed the Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2022. Students have until 26 August to complete and upload their student reading records to the PRC site.
