Our wellbeing programs ensure students are well understood and their needs addressed. Every Kindergarten student has a Year 5 buddy, and the bonds that form are special and long-lasting.

Kindergarten Starting Age

To commence Kindergarten at Illawarra Grammar, children must have turned 5 years of age by 30 April in the year they begin school.

This age requirement ensures that all students are developmentally ready to make the most of their learning and social opportunities in our structured school environment.
