Journey to the magical land of Oz with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion in this much‑loved musical adventure. Featuring iconic songs such as Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Follow the Yellow Brick Road, this production celebrates the extraordinary talents of our students on stage, in the orchestra and behind the scenes.
Gain Professional-Level Experience
Our annual School Production is a highlight of the year, providing students across both our schools with a chance to showcase their talents.
Students rehearse for almost nine months, honing their skills across a range of areas including:
- Acting
- Singing
- Dancing
- Orchestra
- Production
- Costume design
- Hair and makeup
- Set design
VET Entertainment
For students in Years 11 and 12, Illawarra Grammar runs the Entertainment Industry VET course internally. Students interested in staging,
production and technical aspects of live events and performances benefit greatly from this course and the practical opportunities provided by School Production.
Upon successful completion of the course students will be awarded a Certificate III in Live Production and Services.
