The first day of school for Year 1 to Year 6 was celebrated with our annual Watermelon Day. This important Junior School event was marked by our first Junior School assembly where our community came together to welcome new staff and students. Watermelon Day originated on the very first day of school at TIGS, when the milkman dropped off a watermelon with his milk delivery to the new school. This tradition has continued and is a lovely way to commence each year.
