Blessing & Warm Wishes

December 4, 2020
Director of TIGS Prep - Mrs Taesha Duley-Smith

Term IV is a busy time, full of learning opportunities and events, coupled with the excitement of transitioning into the next year level. The children have been blessed with a variety of learning opportunities, new friendships and exciting adventures. Once again, the Pageant was a great success and such a lovely way to begin the exciting lead up to Christmas.

Although this year was quite different from the traditional Pageant that we know and love, the virtual Pageant Day kept the traditions alive from TIGS to your home. The children had a wonderful time participating in their end of year celebration, so eagerly and earnestly performing and singing beautifully for us all, they cannot wait to watch their performance at home with family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who watched the Infants’ pageant and for taking time out of your busy schedules to be a part of TIGS community. As always, our educators were on hand during the practice and filming ready to make sure all our children were involved, happy by joining in the fun and celebration of the day.

Music brings people together; it is something which inspires happiness and holds memory. It is a large part of many celebrations as we come together with family and create new memories.

The Pageant is a timely reminder of the true meaning of Christmas and sharing in this important celebration for our community. A very special thanks to Mrs Bonaccorso for her commitment to ensuring that the Prep performances were such a great accomplishment, that certainly brought out the best in our children.

As early childhood educators, we feel very privileged to have been a part of your child’s life this year. Thank you for entrusting your beautiful children to our care and education, it is a responsibility we do not take lightly. I hope you enjoy reflecting on our end of year celebrations as much as our children enjoyed preparing this festivity for you.

We wish for all of our families to have an enjoyable break and may the coming weeks bring rest, peace and contentment, especially at this meaningful time of the year.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family back in 2021

Blessing and warm wishes.
