About the Role
The Illawarra Grammar School is keen to appoint an innovative and experienced Director of Teaching and Learning to join its high-achieving Junior School. As a member of the Junior School Executive and the School’s Leadership Team, the successful applicant will be expected to contribute actively to the School’s ethos and mission.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and enhancing learning programs
- Providing expert guidance on syllabus content
- Designing, moderating, and refining assessments
- Overseeing and managing the reporting process
- Facilitating staff professional development and learning
- Engaging with community around student learning and curriculum
- Promoting best practice in every classroom
- Contributing to the Christian mission of the School.

The EAP offers short-term counselling either in face-to-face sessions, over the phone or via video conferencing. The counselling approach is designed to help clarify problems, identify solutions and develop plans for the future that include ways to approach difficult situations positively and constructively.
