About the Role

The Illawarra Grammar School is keen to appoint an innovative and experienced Director of Teaching and Learning to join its high-achieving Junior School. As a member of the Junior School Executive and the School’s Leadership Team, the successful applicant will be expected to contribute actively to the School’s ethos and mission.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and enhancing learning programs
  • Providing expert guidance on syllabus content
  • Designing, moderating, and refining assessments
  • Overseeing and managing the reporting process
  • Facilitating staff professional development and learning
  • Engaging with community around student learning and curriculum
  • Promoting best practice in every classroom
  • Contributing to the Christian mission of the School.
