Welcome to the website of The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS) in Wollongong, the main city in the Illawarra Region of New South Wales, Australia.

One of the Illawarra's finest schools, TIGS was founded in 1959. The School is renowned as a dynamic educational centre that aims to encourage the formation of capable, self-confident individuals and provides co-educational classes from Preparatory to Year 12 in a Christian and caring environment.

Whilst TIGS focuses on developing the individual's academic strength, students also participate in our outstanding cultural, sporting and outdoor education activities. Together with our well-established pastoral care programme and our caring, committed and professional staff, TIGS continues to provide our young people with educational opportunities of the highest order.
