TIGS hosts a range of ‘Try TIGS’ days which allow students to experience for themselves a day in the life of a student. This is an incredible opportunity to experience the school and meet your classmates before you start at TIGS. These events are held throughout the year and a list of available events is provided below.

2023 Year 7
Tuesday 12 October 2021
8.30am to 3.00pm
Current Year 5 students are invited to experience a day in Year 7 at TIGS! The programme includes a ‘taste’ of Senior School classes including English, Maths, Science and HSIE as well as a masterclass. The day provides opportunities to become familiar with the Senior School environment and meet other students who will be in the same year group. Students are expected to arrive ready to start the day at 8.30am.

Junior School

8.30am to 3.00pm
This event is for students currently in Kindergarten to Year 6 who would love to experience Junior School at TIGS. Students are buddied up with a TIGS student where they will join classes, make friends and discover all the amazing opportunities of a TIGS education. Students will experience a full day in our Junior School including participation in our Mathematics, English, PE and Arts Programmes The day will provide an exciting opportunity to get to know other students who will be in the same Year group.

Senior School

Try TIGS Senior School Day is offered to students currently in Year 7 to Year 11, who would like to experience Senior School at TIGS. Students will experience a full day of classes such as English, Maths, Science, HSIE and specialist subjects. The day will provide an opportunity to get to know other students who will be in the same Year group.
