The “Wollongong Wonder” Emma McKeon has written her place in Australian Olympic history.

Day after day, she has inspired and amazed us, swimming her way to a record 11 Olympic medals. Her races have been eagerly followed by both staff and students here at TIGS, with messages of support and fond memories of this humble and dedicated young woman abounding.

There are so many in our community who have been
privileged to teach or study alongside her, the outpouring of excitement and joy at her success has truly lifted our spirits as we navigate the extended lockdown.

Emma, you have our deepest congratulations, we are so proud of you!
