This term, Year 9 Geography have been looking at the Topic of Sustainable Biomes and the impacts humans have on them. Dr McKenzie’s class this week discussed banana farming and the problems surrounding cosmetic restrictions imposed by supermarkets. To understand this better students followed some of their favourite banana recipes, banana smoothies, banana bread and muffins and then looked at the environmental impacts and sustainability of the ingredients 🍌🍌🍌
