About the role

We are seeking a motivated, experienced administrator to join TIGS Prep in a permanent full time capacity in 2023. 

The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to meet the needs of TIGS Prep. The role is varied and busy, requiring the ability to multi-task, prioritise responsibilities, and coordinate a range of different activities and events. 

The role requires excellent organisational and teamwork skills, strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

How to apply

2. Prepare cover letter and resume

If applicable, the cover letter should address the selection criteria and your resume will contain a brief description of your employment history, along with an outline of achievements, education background, and qualifications obtained.

3. Provide three referees

Referees nominated should be readily accessible and advised by the applicant so they may be contacted by the School. Two should be known to the applicant professionally and it is preferred that one be from a Minister of Religion.

4. For academic positions, provide proof of academic qualifications

  1. A copy of all academic transcripts/qualifications is required with your application. Qualifications gained outside of Australia must be recognised by the NSW Educations Standards Authority (NESA), or equivalent authority.
  2. Philosophical and pedagogical statement. This document will outline your stance in relation to the position, allowing the demonstration of alignment between your own world view and the School’s Statement of Mission and Values.
  3. Up-to-date statements of service.
  4. Evidence of accreditation with the NSW Institute of Teachers (for those qualified after October 2004).
  5. Proof of accreditation (an accreditation card, a letter from the NSW Institute of Teachers) or proof of employment as a teacher in NSW within the last five years.
