Rev. James Rogers

Rev. Rogers is an experienced and enthusiastic educational leader with a deep passion for learning. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from The University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Divinity from Moore Theological College. He is an ordained minister of the Anglican Church.

Rev. Rogers has worked in both schools and churches for over twenty years. He commenced as Chaplain of The Illawarra Grammar School in 2011 where he also holds the position of Head of Biblical Studies. He brings his expertise and experience in education and theology to the role of Chaplain and is instrumental in ensuring the School remains faithful to its Mission and Values.

Rev. Rogers’ leadership ability was acknowledged with his appointment to the position of Deputy Principal in 2019. He enjoys the opportunity this role provides to invest himself fully in the life of the School.
