Mrs Narelle McRae
Mrs McRae is a strong and compassionate educator. With experience from over 30 years in teaching, she is well suited to her Wellbeing role, caring for students, staff and families in the role of Director of Wellbeing and Deputy Head of Junior School.
Mrs McRae holds a Bachelor of Education in Teaching, an Associate Diploma from Trinity College, London in Communication and Drama and has recently completed an Advanced Leadership programme with Monash University.
Early in her career, Mrs McRae taught Senior English and Communication courses at TAFE and local high schools moving into Primary teaching, her greatest passion, where she has had many years experience teaching all grades from Kindergarten to Year 6. Mrs McRae has held a number of leadership roles at TIGS including Dean of Students, Stage Coordinator, Director of Wellbeing and Acting Head of Junior School.
