Mr Nick Hackett

Mr Hackett joined TIGS in 2019. He has taught and led schools in NSW and throughout the United Kingdom. He has an innate curiosity and a personal love of learning that underpins his approaches to school leadership, classroom practice and enquiry-based approaches to staff development, pedagogy and curriculum design.

Mr Hackett holds an MA(Dist) in Educational Leadership and Learning, a PGCE in Science Education and a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry. He has completed postgraduate courses in Research Methods and is currently studying for an ADip in Ministry and Mission.   

During his career, Mr Hackett has worked closely with the Innovation Unit and the Institute of Education (UCL) in the UK, undertaking published research on succession planning, and piloting innovative practice in developing future leaders.
