On Thursday, we received a letter from the Hon Sarah Mitchell MLC and the Hon Dr Geoff Lee MP congratulating our students and Award Coordinators for their achievements in the 2020 Duke of Edinburgh. They wrote…

“Last year was one of the most challenging years in the Award’s 61-year history in NSW with the COVID-19 pandemic causing significant economic and social disruption. Despite these difficulties, The Illawarra Grammar School was able to still provide an opportunity for participants to undertake their Award.
Please pass on our sincere congratulations to your Award Coordinators, Leaders, Assistants and Participants for their dedication and perseverance to continuing the Award. Their collective spirit and strength are a credit to all at The Illawarra Grammar School.”

Congratulations to all the students who participated in or completed their Gold, Silver and Bronze Duke of Ed Awards in 2020. We are all very proud of your achievements 😀
