It’s a proud day for the community at TIGS. Our current Head of Sport Mr Jay Tregonning has been appointed the Head Coach of the Australian Women’s Rugby team.

This appointment recognizes the many years of experience Mr Tregonning has accumulated in elite sport, at both a national and international level. Our heartfelt congratulations go out to him. We know he will achieve great things with the Wallaroos.

Mr Tregonning’s passion and dedication to sport is a true asset to the School. During the return to remote learning he has driven initiatives like the Lockdown Km Challenge and Mr Jay’s Weekly Challenge to encourage and maintain student health and wellbeing.

Mr Tregonning will remain as a valued member of the TIGS staff and expert educator for our students, incorporating his deep knowledge and extensive experience into the curriculum.
