About TIGS

Welcoming families from across the Illawarra region for more than 60 years, the Illawarra Grammar School is a co-educational Anglican school for children aged 3 years through to Year 12, centrally located in Wollongong.

With opportunities to grow far beyond the curriculum, TIGS takes students from strength to strength, in life and in learning. Stretching minds, training bodies, caring for others and growing in character, our students grow stronger each day.

We believe that a good education is not solely about examination scores. School should be about much more than a number. A TIGS education prepares a new generation of leaders with a set of skills and intelligences that a curriculum education alone cannot provide.

The Illawarra and the world need strong leaders. Strong leaders need a strong school. TIGS strong.
