Alumnae Debbie Nielson Sings 11 Divas

Actress and singer Debbie Neilson (Class of 2010) was recently interviewed by ABC Illawarra about her career in film, stage and music, also playing her recent recording of the medley ’11 Divas’. During the interview, Debbie recalled her first time on stage: “I did drama at TIGS… and Helen McLean was the drama teacher there and she kind of got us involved in the school productions before I even did drama. I just loved the community aspect of everyone getting together and creating something so it’s kind of a real sense of family.” Debbie’s recent films include Fragmentary, A Silent Agreement and Ambrosia, directed by TIGS Alumna Rhiannon Bannenberg (Class of 2007).
