At TIGS students are supported and their social, emotional, spiritual and academic growth is nurtured through the classroom teachers, the Pastoral Care Team and the Directorate of Student Services and Support.
In the Junior School (Prep – Year 6), the classroom teacher together with the Pastoral Care Team and the Directorate of Student Services and Support are responsible for the overall development of the child. Any enquiries concerning a student in the Junior School should be directed to the child’s classroom teacher. In the Senior School (Year 7 – Year 12) the Deans together with the Pastoral Care Team and the Directorate of Student Services and Support are responsible for the overall development of the child. Any enquiries concerning a student in the Senior School should be directed to one of the child’s Dean. Overall at TIGS every staff member is committed to maximising every child’s academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth, encouraging them to make an ongoing positive contribution to the school and the wider community.
