######### The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS) offers a range of Scholarships to internal and external students for entry into Years 5-11.

External students(ie students not currently enrolled at the School) can either apply online (see the box on the right hand side of this page) or contact the School on 4220 0216 for a Scholarship Information Pack.

Internal students (ie those students currently at the School) should contact the School on 4220 0216 or download the information from the Associated Resources at the bottom of this page.

Scholarships fall into three categories: Academic, Music and General. All students can apply for more than one type of scholarship.

Scholarships offered at TIGS are set at a percentage discount off the full tuition fees for the duration of the student's enrolment at TIGS.

TIGS use the Australian Council for Educational Research's (ACER) Co-operative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP) as part of the selection process for Scholarships for students entering Years 7-11, and the Primary Scholarship Program (PSP) for Years 5 and 6.

The number of Scholarships offered varies from year to year. Academic Scholarships are usually offered every year however Music and General Scholarships are only offered if candidates are of a suitably high standard.

Prior to submitting a scholarship application, parents and students must read The Illawarra Grammar School Scholarship Conditions (found at the bottom of the TIGS Scholarship Application Form), as this outlines the conditions attached to all Scholarships at the School.

Applications for 2009 scholarships close on Friday 11 April 2008 (Late Fees apply after this date).

All applicants and their families are invited to attend the TIGS Expo Day, an informal afternoon of information and tours of the school to be held on Saturday 29 March 2008.
