All vacancies for positions at TIGS are advertised in the Illawarra Mercury and/or the Sydney Morning Herald and are listed below, as they arise. The box In This Section found at the right side of the page, contains details of the current employment vacancies and the relevant documentation to assist in completing your application.
APPLYING FOR EMPLOYMENT VACANCIES AT TIGS
In applying for vacancies at TIGS, you will be providing the School with personal information.
If you provide TIGS with personal information, for example your name and address or information contained in your resume, TIGS will collect the information in order to assess your application.
You agree that TIGS may store this information for (3) months.
You may seek access to your personal information that TIGS hold about you if you are unsuccessful for the position. However, there will be occasions when access is denied. Such occasions would include where access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others.
TIGS will not disclose this information to a third party without your consent.
TIGS is required by law to collect information under the Child Protection Legislation.
HOW TO APPLY
All job applications should contain the following:
1 Completed Job Application Cover Sheet obtained
by clicking in the box (In this Section) at the
right hand side of this page or by contacting the
School directly.
2 Resume/Curriculum Vitae. This document
should contain a brief description of your
past/present employment history and outline of
achievements, education background and qualifications
obtained.
3 The names of three (3) Referees. (Referees
nominated should be readily accessible and advised by
the applicant that they may be contacted by the
School.
Two (2) should be known to the applicant
professionally and one (1) must be from
a Minister of Religion)
4 Prohibited Employment Declaration form,
obtained by clicking in the box (In this Section)
at the right hand side of this page or by
contacting the School directly.
Job applications for academic positions must also include the following:
1 Copies of all Academic Transcripts/Qualifications.
(Qualifications gained outside of Australia must be
recognised by AEI-NOOSR, or equivalent authority.)
2 Proof of Accreditation (an accreditation card, a
letter from the Institute of Teachers, a statement
from another Teacher Accreditation Authority) or proof
of employment as a teacher within the last five years.
